Death Race sounds similar to Series 7: The Contenders. Has anyone seen that?

I'm really surprised Alex is the only host that has seen Death Race 2000. It's such a great movie.

This was the first intro that I got on the first line in weeks. I was wondering how Jeff's burnt mouth was going to fit in, but it was genius!

Also, I have loved all of the Civilization games on the PC (especially Civ2) so I was pretty apprehensive about Civ Rev. I blew through the 360 demo in like an hour, and the game just didn't feel right to me. I decided to give it another shot though after reading reviews (and some increasingly obsessive tweets from a guy named @dannytrs), and fell in love with it. The control mechanic which I was most concerned about actually feels natural (apart from the D-pad unit selection that Jeff mentioned) and everything else is just great. I even bought my new TV sooner rather than later partly because of this game*.

The iron-on segment was great (although I didn't get Dan's shirt reference). And Steve (I assume) has the same iron as I do. Weird.

Nice to see you guys get back around to Civilization Revolution. In all honesty, it makes me question my need for any other 360 games. Yes, I enjoy it that much The Game of the Week scenarios have me completely addicted, I love getting these new challenges to work on each week.

Compared to Civ IV I also much prefer Civ Rev. The speed of play and new concepts (armies, naval support, bonuses for first to research) along with the simplified city management just really hit the spot. Really all I want in a new version are more diplomacy options. Open borders, the ability to barter rather than have set trade options, etc. Sorry, two things: also need the ability to save multiplayer games, even if that means they have to be unranked. I just want to play with a few friends and the Civ Rev matches really push the amount of time we can sit down at one time.

Awesome, awesome game. Going to be a serious contender for my game of the year.

Jeff's description of geek arguments seems like every drunk conversation I have, except for when I'm hitting on girls, because I know you can't using reasoning to get a girl to like you. I have tried this once and it went down about as well as the Hindenberg.

Good on Alex for standing his ground. Sometimes a movie is just a movie, it has no meaning it's just fun.

Too bad that I find Woody Allen movies pretentious so I don't enjoy them.
