Welcome to the Politics Forum - but first some rules of order ...
1. Read the Revision3 Rules of Conduct post.
2. Rules #2 and #3 are still in effect, but political discussions can/will get heated so a little name calling is expected (ever watched question time in the British Parliament?) ... just make sure that the attitudes are not carried over into other areas of the Revision3 forums. This is not an invitation to start name calling and flaming others, but a warning that it is something we anticipate will happen - do not escalate the argument, step away from the keyboard, take a deep breath and come back. Political discussion often needs a thick skin from both sides of a debate. It is expected that this forum will be dominated by the US 2008 Election over the upcoming months. If you are from somewhere else (ie - not the US), don't let that stop you from participating.

As you can tell in my sig I try not to be a 'keyboard commando' and make personal attacks on someone else just because of their political opinion. I do hope that political discourse here will be less immature than that of a street corner discussion.
