Default Is This All I Need To Know About McCain/Palin?

If you really think that John McCain and Sarah Palin should be the next leaders of this country, there's something seriously fucking wrong with you.
As an outsider viewing this election, what from this should I not take seriously? It really seems like all I need to know.

The ABC interview was prety damning. No wonder the GOP have been shielding her from the press ... every time she opens her mouth without a script it just gets worse.

This has helped shape my opinion as well.

Sure, she may not be qualified and just a political shill, but McCain, as I've stated before, will not take the presidency well. You can just see it, and that means we'll have President Palin, which seems pretty scary.

All this after hearing Obama speak, and I am seriously concerned people will really vote for these two.

what you should do is keep out of it, you heathen commie foreigner!

j/k

there is a lot to know about mccain. he is a good guy and i think he would be a fine president if he could the neo cons and religious nut cases away from him. unfortunately it seems like he feels that is the only way he can be president is to be in bed with them.

I don't doubt he's a good guy, I just think he's too old.

Perhaps ... but the older the candidate, the more the VP needs to be taken into consideration.

Scary thing is, 8 years ago, if I was eligible to vote over here, I would have voted for him to be the GOP nominee, and for him to be President ... despite the fact I am liberal and like Gore. Now, with all the neocon and evangelical pandering, he has lost any appeal he had in the past. I am afraid the Dems have it right ... "Change? No, more of the same."

Same here. I voted for Gore begrudgingly, but if McCain was the GOP pick I would have voted for him.

I agree with Token on this. I say too old to the effect that I think it will impact his ability to function, not just too old. He could be 120, but once he looks strong enough it's all good.

But the stuff they (McCain's camp) are pulling make them look ridiculous.
