Wolf Blitzerish slash Katie Couric a la' Diggnation style "Meet the Press" roundtable doing a week's review championing the democractic process?

I don't know if I'd be comfortable with a political show on Rev3 unless they found new talent to helm it. Politics isn't something I want to watch just anyone discuss.

I'm sure Rev3 could pull it off... and, I might add, it would probably be on par, if not better, than the Colbert Report. Y'know, some humor mixed with quotes from some of the Diggnation people on the political threads. There is a lot of content out there. Keep it going after everyone doesn't care anymore post-election, or maybe, just slide in a Special Show pre-election, in sorta a one shot deal.
I think a lot of people tend to underestimate the potiential of the talent... problem is, I wonder if any of the staff would even want to do a show like that. I imagine they're pretty busy these days with all the other projects going on. I think it's relevant though, since there is a lot of side-effects on the internet community with the wrong people running the government; you name it, from DRM to the Patriot Act and net neutrality. It would be something I would watch, especially if it was on Rev3.

when i first saw the thread title i thought "wow, horrible idea" because i'm sick of politics as it is
then i realized that it might actually be normal people giving normal people perspectives about politics the problem, however, is that this show would really lose traction after the election oh, and i'd say that most people hate the politics section of digg...clearly retardation runs rampant there. Been watching Diggnation lately, more often than not, they avoid breathing a whisper about politics. Probably a good thing.

Kevin Rose and Martin Sargent are hosting a "Political Party" on CurrentTV on election night.

Those two talking politics. Yeah, I think I'm getting a headache just from the thought of it.

The fact it is on Al Gore's network should give you an aneurysm then.
