Thats the cold hard truth. Stay away from the politics section.... except for my thread about rights for bears -- its quite humorous (in my eyes anyway).

As i walked over i got this grin on my face and decided it would be cool to break the tension if i put my mom's cigarette out on my tongue. So i stood in front of my mom and motioned for her cigarette; she was so adsorbed in the conversation she did not think nothing of it. When a moment opened up for me to talk i said to my mom and her friend "Smoking is bad for you..." Needless to say when i put out her cigarette the look on her face was priceless. She asked me if it hurt and i said no, then they preceded to say i was crazy and went on about the conversation. Personally, i took it as a compliment.
My granddad died 2 years ago. My father took it harder than I did. I think in general, its more difficult to see your father pass on to the other side than your grandfather, but as the old saying goes "when its time to go, its time to go".

Anyway, I hope things go well for you, I wish you the best.

I was more ready for it than my parents and grandmother was, the hardest part was to seem them all upset. But yea, after conquering my fear of the stage and being in front of people, dying just does not seem as scary anymore. Ironically i found out that the number one fear people have is being in front of people, a fear above death...
