Post Episode 82 - Footnote - Blizzcon, Body of Lies, Rocknrolla, Fracture, Wipeout HD, and... Jason X? [Discussion]

Hands-on with Starcraft II and Diablo III at Blizzcon! The truth about Body of Lies. Does Rocknrolla rock? Will we rip on Fracture? Is Wipeout HD worth $20? Plus, bad movie night goes to space!

Watch or download here.

Default About Wipeout

Usually i agree with the guys on games but i was really confused about their wipeout review. I was wondering if they made it past the first initial speed classes because once you get to rapier it is close to burnout speed. I think they should perhaps get more into it to see that it is a pretty challenging racer. Also, use pilot assist if you guys found the controls too hard. Thats just my two cents but great show guys.

Great show again guys, loved the Jason X spot, should do a classic horror movie for the Oct. 28 show, not saying Jason X isn't a classic, but it's definitely not Alien vs. Predator. Also Jeff, Canadian election is today, and I'm voting.

I think I've said this on the board before but registering to vote was the my gift to myself on my 18th birthday. I went down to the local post office (which is only two blocks away so it wasn't like some amazing trek with banners waving and sirens blaring) and registered. Had a pep in my step the whole day.

Isn't it only me missing large quicktime format? All I can dl to my hd is 33B file.
Hope you will work it out soon. I just prefer this format - on Win or *nix platform.

Regards

I was shocked at the WipeOut HD review. As well saying it wasn't worth $20. I am really really loving this game. I feel the speed is perfect and btw did you know you can do tricks on jumps for extra boost?

I've been seeing a patter of Jeff getting all the awesome parts in the intros. Sitting in trees, eating raw eggs? Come on man, leave some for the rest!
Also, Dan's punch-out for the vg section was super-sweet. And wipeout and twisted metal are magnificent psygnosis (woah, sp?) memories.
Finally, I already voted! Like, a week ago! Hah! With an absentee ballot, from France! Which means I didn't get to ka-CHUNK the big lever, but rather obsessed over not filling in the wrong circle in the wrong place or... whatever. It was very reminiscent of the SATs, in a way. And possibly Floridian ballots as well. So, are you proud of me, Jeff!? Might there be official TRS "Pat on The Head" stickers I could acquire, say at Jinx, perhaps? I'm sure Pavlov would see Jeff-issued HeadPats(TM) as very positively reinforcing.
