Nope she meant Duster, you can get REALLY high off of spray duster cans.

(but it can also kill you so don't go trying it)

Don't try this on someone with a particularly good grasp of mathematics. They might figure out that the only way for there to be more red cards is for there to be missing black cards, and then the whole illusion falls apart.

by the time you show your prediction, you've already put the "discard" pile away. so if they count them after, you have them all. Tell them to count and you'll predict again, this time they buy you a beer if you're right twice.

Nah, don't worry about it. Just because someone OUGHT to know better doesn't mean they won't get fooled. Thinking about all the types of people who should be able to figure out this trick or that one just keeps you from trying them.

Besides, even if they're rain man, the point at which they should notice the incongruity will be after the first count, but before your prediction happens... Giving you plenty if time to talk your way into another routine.

Rereading my last comment, I sense that I came on a little strong. Who am I to say "Don't try it"? You should absolutely try it on people who ought to know better. What do you have to lose? And if you manage to fool someone who prides themselves on their logic skills, you can then rub in the fact that they should have known better.

Just don't try it on me. Here's a good way to turn this around if somebody tries it on you:
1. Let them get you the first time.
2. Act all surprised.
3. Make them do it again.
4. While you're going through the cards slip an extra into the discard pile. This is easy enough if you take off three cards but only fan two.
5. Before you count the piles, bet a round that the prediction will be wrong. The scammer will be all too eager if you've played your part well.
6. Enjoy your drink!

So what like 1 in 1000 people would know the math anyway? I'm pretty good at math but I didn't think anything of it. This one was awesome BTW, one of my favorites so far! (And yes, I've seen every episode)
