Question Help with my DG834N ?

I bought a DG834N from my local retailer in the UK recently and was very disappointed by the limited features and options compared to my 2 year old belkin router which sadly died.
Anyway i was looking for a replacement firmware after watching episode 405 of Hak5 but didn't succeed but im determined that there must be a replacement firmware somewhere on the internet so im wondering weather anyone knows of a firmware i can download without bricking my router

thanks

Check out the last 3 episodes of Systm, they replaced and benchmarked some stuff. TOMATO firmware to be specific.

The issue that you have is that you're trying to upgrade a DSL router.
The easiest thing to do is really to place that DG834N into bridge mode, and purchase a standard linksys router and install DD-WRT on it. I've really been impressed with their most recent release, and highly recommend it.

Let me know if there's anything else we can help ya with.
