Default Pick of the Week Podcast Episode #157: Battlefields: The Night Witches #1

This week, we did the show live with an audience as we recorded. But for you, basically the same thing. Luckily, that thing is excellence.

I enjoyed Night Witches, and ended up buying it because my comic guy was talking up a storm about it, which led to an enjoyable 5-minute discussion on Garth Ennis. However, pick of the week worthy next to Rage of the Red Lanterns? Not even close (in my opinion)!

GREAT show but no love for the Rage Of The Red Lanterns =(.

Did anyone read the Ultimate Captain America Annual #1 because it was fun. I did not care a lot for the first story because the artwork. But the last story was great and I am not a big fan of the Ultimate world and Loeb. But I was very happy with this book.

I beg and plead everyone to buy Night Witches! I want this book to succeed so badly that it's painful.

I know but it was not the POW. I am just giving you a hard time =)

I enjoy Battlefields I got on Thursday after I saw you pick it as your pick of the week. I will be reading the rest of the story line.

Battlefields was very enjoyable. Glad to be in on the ground floor with an Ennis war book.
