Default Ubuntu 8.10 & WG311v3 Wifi Help ??

Iam running Ubuntu 8.10 and having problems trying to get the wifi happening. The PCI card I have is a netgear WG311 version3. I have issued the lspci command and got the following output.

As can be seen the card uses the marvell chipset. I have tried a number of suggested setups from the net but nothing have worked. Has anyone got this combination and got it to work?

Try the following and see if you get any more info.
modprobe <hardwarename>

sudo lsmod

sudo lshw

dmesg | less

you may need to look into ndiswrapper.
ndiswrapper allows you to run windows drivers on linux.

Ok thanks guys I have got the wireless working thanks to lordfouls help. Seems like the driver was the problem, I had tried others which didnt work. Also used ndiswrapper to get it going.
