Kevin recited a meme? (Several of my friends died while eating snow)

I bet a whole bunch of digg users just exploded in awe.

Currently watching this ep - really funny so far!

I hope you guys get a train, if only for environmental reasons. Diesel engines are ridiculously more efficient than jet engines. You won't have to wait 2 hours to check-in and you don't have to pop ypur ears on descent.

The chunnel is great (between England and France) and it's pretty much over in 30 minutes - no sea sickness and you can go straight from a Eurostar (chunnel) train to the TGV, which is the 'bullet' train that goes to plenty of places in France and (as far as I remember) some places outside of France.

...and if you need to ask google if it's ok to eat snow you should have been told this by your parents before you could google! :-)

They had a massive Digggasm. I really don't pity the person who has to clean that up.

I honestly didn't even know 3.1 still was in service. Thought they got rid of it definitely after ME, or at the very latest XP's release. But per their question, I still like playing with my computer and problem solving when it's busted. I mean whats the point of having a computer that works all the time without fail. It feels unnatural.

That's why I got into linux operating systems because the fact that not everything works completely out of the box. Or in the case of applications, it takes a lot of hoops to jump through, and if you look at the entire open surce community they're definitely open and friendly enough people to give a helping hand when asked nicely enough. =D

The unnatural part must've came from many years of working under Windows.

I still enjoy fixing computers, but not as much as I used to. Mainly because now, when a computer crashes, it's usually my laptop which has important stuff like homework on it (and profs don't take "my laptop crashed" as a valid excuse). Also, now everything is so dumbed down that it's not so much a puzzle as it is "reinstall a driver" or "reinstall Windows because your computer got fucked by a virus which won't fucking delete".
