Default Help SweatyRobot win a contest!

Taken from http://www.sweatyrobot.com

"Hello Friends and Fans,

Please show your support for us in this Doritos contest. You help got us on IFC with "Happy Birthday, Harris Malden," and your support can help us gain a high spot in this contest. You'll have to sign up for Jumpcut, and then click the little "Love it" heart. It won't take long and we will certainly appreciate it. Leave a comment too, so we know who to thank. If you like the commercial enough, forward this to your friends.

Thanks for the help,
SWEATY ROBOT"

They'd be too modest to ask for the help of the dromies, but I'm not! I know the power of this great army, so as a fan of SweatyRobot and as a member of this community I'm asking you to help em out!

Go here: http://www.jumpcut.com/view?id=6C9F6...00DB926D&type= The link is also on the main page of the SweatyRobot site.

Watch their movie, and make sure to click the "LOVE IT" button to vote for them. It takes a very quick registration, and with only 19 votes right now they're on the second page of "most loved" out of thousands on the Doritos website. Please help SweatyRobot win this contest!

Thanks guys

Sense when? I called one of those guys out for only using the Geekdrome forum to promote SweatyRobot and he sent me back a confusing PM about my observation being wrong.

In immature retaliation to it, I say **** SweatyRobot... they most definitely are not funnier than me or half the people in this community. By the way that statement is based on the poor sample of work I watched on their site and not just out of spite.

Also, I voted for Dan's Butterfinger video because I like Dan and it only took a minute, but I didn't really think it was the best video nor did I think it was fair to the other people who made better movies who didn't have thousands of Geekdrome and Diggnation fans backing them. It's wrong, but I'm not the most ethical person out there so I don't care, but if I had stronger morals I would vote for who deserves it instead of who some dude told you to vote for as a favor that will never be returned.

Damn, you're taking this way too seriously.

Just asking for help, not asking you to bend your morals.

Hive, thanks for posting that, we appreciate it. You still rule number one.

ThunderCat, ease up, sorry Hive asked you to click a link.

You know what, how about you come to Philly, we'll set up a screening of our stuff, and you can say all the FU's you want to our face. Here is the website to buy your airplane tickets. The flight leaves from Pasco, WA, which is only 4 miles from where you live. I think that is do-able.

I will personally pick you up at the airport. It'll be a grand ole time.

OR you can talk badly about us from across the country over the internet. Weak.

I have a better idea. If you can prove that you're funnier than me, I'll pledge my support to SweatyRobot and throw your show link in my sig for as long as I post here.

If you can't prove that you're funnier than me you guys have to stop promoting your show on the Rev3 forums.

If you accept, we do battle in the Drome.

Also, I wasn't going to vote for this thing (cuz I'm lazy like that). But just to spite Thundercat, I signed up and voted. See what happens, Larry? By talking about how you weren't gonna vote and mocking these guys, you really did vote anyways.

+3 votes since last i checked. coincidence?! maybe. but i'll chalk it up as a win! thanks for the votes, those who didn't step on my face or call me a nazi!
