Good episode this week, you've gotta love having experts in their fields come in to help.

I was hoping for a "best gadget presents for Christmas" segment (e-mailed it in) because I personally find the review segments more fun and interesting than the questions. Any chance of this for next year?

Macbook, you should know - You can cut the skins down to netbook size.

I gave one of my TT's - the nearest thing I'll ever use to a netbook - the Gelaskin treatment: A quick slice and dice with a knife and I was done.




You'll need to draw out a template to get full coverage of an HP 1000 lid, but it's perfectly possible if you take a well-chosen 13" skin as a start.


Also, is Patrick's new 'do' new? I don't remember it from last week. Does this mean he'll finally stop wearing those hats?

I think it was a mic problem, because endlessinsanity form #Tekzilla IRC channel recorded the live stream of the filming of the show and it does it there also. The mic might of got temporary knocked loose form Veronica's wiggling lol.

A fantastic episode! When it comes to PC graphics hardware, there is nobody better than Jason. Same goes for home theater and Robert, he's the Einstein on the topic. And we still got the two pinnacles of tech knowledge that are Pat and Veronica! Having so much expert knowledge all packed in one show is almost intoxicating.

And for what its worth, especially with the cost of a new motherboard, I think the i7 is currently not worth the price. Maybe next year when the cheaper chip sets come out I'll look at the idea of building a machine up around it. But for now, I'm sticking with C2D and C2Q.

Finally, a comment for Veronica. With this one I'm not saying you ever look bad, so don't take this one to mean that. But I noticed in this episode you looked especially nice. Something different with the hair or makeup?
