Default Mirror's Edge - demos coming this week

Tomorrow (Oct. 30) the Mirror's Edge demo his the PSN, and on Friday (31st) it hits XBL.

Anyone else looking forward to trying this out, to see if it lives up to the incredible hype that NJShadow has built up for it? I am. I think it'll be a good game, I just worry about stiff aiming (the one thing I'd change about Battlefield: Bad Company).

Well, we don't have long to wait, now.

The demo is probably going to be good because it's only one level. The game might be disappointing though because that game-play might end up being repetitive and get boring.

I agree with the person above me, i think one level will be pretty fun(maybe a middle of the game level as well) and once we get the game an repeat over and over an start out slow it might not be as fun.

But i hope its good, i just have a feeling im gunna wanna puke while playing it...

I watched the guys from Sarcastic Gamer play a demo of it and it seemed pretty awesome. They all had good things to say about the game. I think it all depends on if there's a story that really drives the game along. If you're just doing level after level of running on buildings, I don't think it'll keep your interest. You'll just turn the game on to fiddle with it with friends, not to really play the game. If there's a decent story that keeps your urge to get to the next level then I think Mirror's Edge will be a winner in my book.

This is probably my most anticipated game of the year. I cannot wait to finally get my hands on it. I hope it lives up to expectations.
