Default Bring back Systm

Tekzilla without Veronica is not going to cut it.

Plus, there already is Tekzilla with Veronica.

Get some creative ideas.

I have to agree, I don't like how Systm is becomming a "How to install stuff on your PC" show, the DIY build-it-yourself aspect of the show is what attracted me to it, but I'm being completely put off by the majority of recent episodes.

I would love to see a string of 'building blocks' type episodes where we're shown how to build, use & work with various electronic components, like a few major components per episode which can be used for a multitude of projects - and ending up with a few episodes where the learned knowledge from the 'building blocks' episodes are put into practice.

PIC and/or Arduino implimentation, usage & programming is what I think would make an excellent Systm show or few shows. A lot of us are hungry for knowledge on neat electronics & components, please don't keep giving us "How to install stuff on your PC" shows

I think I am officially starting to hate 2009; it 'properly' snowed here in the UK for the first time in a long time and I can't go out and enjoy it because I have to work because suddenly everyone wants money from me, still haven't heard back from the archery club wether I've got a place this year (the course starts in 2 weeks & missed last year), etc. etc.

And now Systm has turned into bloody Tekzilla!

FFS...

Well, Sir Patrick claimed in another thread that he'd address this. But nothing from him, and today's episode was another "click button, software happens" with Roger. While Roger is a nice person, the combination of Patrick and Roger is not good television. IMHO

Folks, the kids at Systm are probably in between the proverbial rock and a hard place. If they do what half the viewers want and change Systm, then the other half that likes what they do now will start bitching.

I like the presenters of Systm, don't get me wrong, airing my views about the content they put out isn't a reflection on them & their abilities. My heart sank when I heard them saying the next episode was going to be about dynamic DNS stuff - more "download this, click this" etc.

Thankfully there are these great sites devoted to hardware hacking/modifying/building from scratch, all of which have at one time linked to one or two of Systm's DIY hardware episodes:
