We just make an update to our flash player that generates embed codes that will not autostart.

Well it is not working for me and that's my gripe. When I come to the main Tekzilla page and click "watch or download now" I really wish you would be truthful. Label it "watch *and* download now" and I'll grumble to myself and maybe download an episode. Just add two easy methods and you'll have me as a regular viewer. 1) Use a sequential naming scheme and drop the childish description in the filname. Rev 3 is the only podcast that doesn't allow me to script a download by incrementing the filename. Well, OK until mevio took over CrankyGeeks that is and they are now DtM. (more on that below) 2) Give me a page where I might just go and have a link to a download. I'll meet you halfway name it what you like, just don't autoplay the content. I realize I'm just one viewer and don't matter much but I have watched 100% of CrankyGeeks until they started the URL and psuedo-random filnaming nonsense at mevio. Now I don't watch CG at all. They are OK but not OK enough for the hasle. Tekzilla is worth a little hassle but not much. I count episode 74 as the last I watched and see about 30 shows in the download folder. i have listened to all 182 episodes of ROTSS/TWiT and all 87 episodes of insidethenet/net@nite I've watched a gazillion episodes at pixelcorps. Tekzilla, you make it hard to be a fan. You know what it's like when they change the channel lineup on the cable or sattellite box? And you can't find anything until you get used to it? Well you figuratively change the channel lineup every week. You know what it's like when the cable box resets and starts on some godawful channel when you yurn it on? Congrats, that's your download page for Tekzilla. Ok, OK, I'll go away now. |

Yeah sometimes it's kinda annoying that it starts playing as soon as you pop onto the page. Would be a cool fix.
Thanks if possible! |
