Build A DIY Electromagnetic Pulse Generator

Hey Systm crew can you build an electromagnetic pulse generator (the nonexplosive type)
for those who don't know an electromagnetic pulse generator creates an electromagnetic pulse that renders any electronical device dead for a certain amount of time. It may be a geek's nightmare but we should learn from our weaknesses.

Can you just make them? I wasn't aware they were something easy to make.

I'm not 100% sure but a Emp Generator is just a huge coil with a hurendous amount of electricity introduced and oscillated at around 50Hz . They drove a jeep through one on discovery's "Future Weapons".

Like... forever.

The idea is that it creates a massive magnetic field, which induces current flow in electrical loops. Ideally the current flow is large enough to destroy the device. Generally after you pump something way past it's intended maximum current, it's not coming back, after any period of time.
