Jeebus. That's just.. weird? Actually, it might be interesting. Osborn seemed reluctant to play both the parts of the knight and the soldier when the discussion of roles came up in Dark Reign. Maybe he feels he could find someone to do a better job at playing the soldier role that Captain America used to fill.
Sidenote - that Flash Thomson one-shot was really really good.

In the Talksplode episode Brubaker said the Marvels Project is dropping in July. It seems this is what the Cap teaser is for. I doubt their bringing back Cap.
