The Digg community picked the top questions for Virgin Group founder & record-breaking adventurer Sir Richard Branson, and Arianna Huffington asked those on Virgin America’s inaugural flight from San Francisco to Orange County.

I just have a couple things to say here.
First of all, even though I think Arianna Huffington is a little annoying, I thought she did a pretty good job here, and she didn't seem too overly ignorant to Digg and the internet. The questions were good and Richard Branson did a good job answering them, but.... my real problems came from the advertising, first of all I find it a bit unnerving that Rev3 would let a scam like freecreditreport.com sponsor an entire episode like this. That whole website is paid for by unlucky people forgetting to cancel the service and having their credit cards charged every month. And then to top it off it took five minutes for that ad to play as it continuously stopped to load, even though the rest of the episode played smoothly at high quality. What the fuck? |

I like his comment that, "US airlines are like a cattle truck". He seems like someone who'd be fun to share a beer with.

Digg probably got the sponorship from freecreditreport.com, rather than Revision3. But either way, it's bad.

Not to be a hater as I like the concept of digg dialogg but I do not like the person that is doing the interview as I can barely understand her and I don't think that's acceptable, and I think the audio quality is poor (yes I realize their in a plane) but you can get good audio in a plane.

I rather enjoyed this episode because of the quality of both the interviewer and Sir Richard Branson.
In response to DJ Silent, I think your comment is rather arrogant. This is the internet, you cannot expect everything you read and listen to on here to be in your language and to say that you "don't think that's acceptable" is just silly. |

It was a fairly good interview but here's my only argument. Besides the questions, this seemed way too much like a mainstream/way too professional interview. I watch the Digg Dialoggs because it's not like normal boring interviews you see on tv. It's laid back and more of a fun environment. The people being interviewed tend to seem more laid back and relaxed with out a professional news or media interviewer doing the interview.

Also, although Huffington surprised me, and maybe I am fan boy, but I actually like seeing Kevin Rose do the interviews. But I understand he is probably super busy. I just remember a lot of criticism from some because of the way he interviewed Trent Reznor and I hope thats not why they got someone else to do it because all in all, Kevin has done a great job I think. |
