Ordered my ticket just now for Star Trek, gonna see it the 7th. Good thing my place of work is open until 20.00 (which means i will stay at work, probably eat and go strait to the theatre from work).

This episode made me even more excited to go see Star Trek. Plus, I REALLY enjoyed the opening. It was only a matter of time before a DS was used.

Also, I hate to say it, but I think Alex is going for year three without a win.

How spoiler-friendly is the Star Trek portion of the podcast. I'd love to hear them get in-depth with whatever concepts are at play in the movie, since that's what J.J. Abrams does so well...

...but I'm assuming they kept it spoiler-free, so that people will feel comfortable watching the podcast in advance of this weekend.

Nice intro, almost how I want to make it. I haven't heard about Impossible Mission, sounds impossible.

Star Trek sounds like a HUGE movie. I can't wait to see it. I didn't think they liked almost all the actors. I was a bit worried about Zachary Quinto and John Cho, but it seems like they did good. I haven't watched much of J.J. Abrams work, but I think I would enjoy his work if I watched it. Chirs Pine can be the new Harrison Ford and Simon Pegg is always awesome.
I don't have any interest of watching Wolverine, but the game looks pretty. I'm not sure if I'm buying it, but I want to try it at least.

I'm not a normal person, so I like things not everyone are interested in. When I was 8-9 years I became a fan of the pop-group A-ha. I started watching a lot of James Bond-movies, like Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies and Operation Thundersky. I read Robinson Crusoe and a lot of Jules Verne books when I was 10-11. At the same time I listened to classical music (really classic) like Mozart and Vivaldi, and I did a project about Beethoven in 6th or 7th grade. I also read the newspapers daily. I became more normal at 12-14, but I watched a lot of movies no one watched, and I still does.
That was maybe a bit too much about myself.

Wow, that mission in the beginning was great! by far the best one yet. I just bought my ticket for Star Trek. Excited!

Great Episode. Oddly enough we got back into the van right during the game review after picking up Wolverine.

I am so excited for Star Trek. Anakin handled the midnight showing of Wolverine very well so we are going this Thursday for Star Trek. I have wanted to so badly to see the Star Trek cast on the big screen but younger than what they were in the previous movies. Part of me feels like this is the movie I wanted as a little kid, and I haven't even seen it yet.

I promised Anakin I wouldn't wear the ears. They will stay with the costumes in the back of the closet.

Really enjoyed the episode apart from the intro, which included a dyslexic joke and a very adult mission video. I must confess both disturbed me a little because I just don't expect those kind of things from TRS and it really could have ruined the whole episode for me. Fortunately it didn't, but I really don't want to see that kind of thing in future.

Also, just wanted to say that Mike has been doing a killer job.

I look forward to his poster mock-ups now. Glad to see him putting his own spin on the show.

Great episode, the segments flowed fantastically and everyone was on fire. can't wait to see Star Trek on Thursday. My friend Brian actually said literally the exact same thing about MI3 that Dan did, severely underrated. Philip Seymour Hoffman was a fantastic villain. I hated Wolverine. I thought the first 10-20 minutes were good but when the actual plot started it derailed fairly quickly. The ending was atrocious and it's like they didn't pay attention to the universe they already established in the other X movies. For instance, why have Wolverine get his adamantium at some sort of jungle base when they establish in the first two movies that Weapon X is in Canada somewhere? I think Transformers is probably going to be the big winner this summer.
