i asked about starting listening threads before was told it is ok as long as it is different sections. since not everyone visits every other section.

Yeah, duplicate threads in different sections doesn't make a lot of sense. That and it's off topic and isn't related to the show, so it really only makes sense in general.

So I think it goes just fine. It is a way for the community to find common interest in music which leads to talking then to possible friendships.

Looks to me you are only complaining because of the area of the forums it is in. Never mentioned it before in other areas of the forums with the same thread.

No, it's not that at all. I actually didn't know there were threads like this in the other forums. I thought there was just the one in General. I almost never post in the Tekzilla forum and never got into Popsiren.

I can't see a problem with having this thread.
