As a musician myself, it was the best Dan Becomes a Man ever, for me. I laughed, almost cried, and it was just generally all-around great. Thanks, guys!

Ok I want to see "Drag me to Hell" now.

For the "Dan Becomes a Man" segment, I agree it is not fun. My Brother got a guitar for X-mas years ago. I was about 11. When ever "One" by Metallica was big. Actually, "Sweet Child of mine" too. I learned those songs back to front. But it was all like todays' Guitar Hero. It was all by memory. Couldn't play them now with a gun to my head. I have no music comprehension what so ever.

Fun show.

Dan becomes a Man.
Had me in stitches, for some reason as soon as Jeff or Alex laugh at Dan I just have to join in.
The bit where he misses the strum, classic. (we do love you though Dan)

Outside filming was Great = More please

Loving the conversations in the car, although I have no idea what you lot were on about, just nice to see something less scripted.

Thanks

That was the best "Dan Becomes A Man" segment since London. It was funny, heartwarming, inspiring and totally makes me miss my friends.

For Dan: Just because it has come up a few times now on the show. The correct pronunciation for Ico is: Eee-Co, not Eye-co.

It's one of those names that is pronounced in a way that is counterintuitive to how it looks; like H.R. Giger (Gee-gir).

Loved the show this week. This Dan becomes a man segment is my favourite, second only to the England episode. It was also nice to see Alex finally remove the Sony hater pants.

I think so. With Sega releasing the Conduit next week, along with a new RE title, the new Metroid, and this game (which I hope sees a stateside release), it does seem that Nintendo is finally acknowledging their real fanbase.

Also on that list should be Silent Hill Shattered Memories. After reading IGN's hands on with the game, I can't wait to play it. This will likely be the game that will force me to buy a Wii. I've been longing for a good Silent Hill game since SH3.

Even though it's not developed by "Team Silent," and even though Climax was responsible for the less than stellar SH: Origins, I do think they are on the right track with this game. There is something so very disturbing about a game that will tailor make its enemies to suit your specific personality.

i think you guys should do more segments outdoors. The greenscreen is fine now and then, but it seems real and natural in other areas. This ep reminded me kinda of coop or the 1up show

Aww man, have you still not watched all the old episodes yet ? Wesley does things frequently that garner him the shoutouts he deserves. What are ya waiting for ? When you're in the mood to watch something on the puter, throw on an old TRS.

Angry Kutztown? I think not...

I've got to straighten something out regarding the email that was read in this week's episode. The email came from someone who was going to school in the "taint of Pennsylvania" and missed stuff from Philly, one of those being WaWa convenience stores.

Dan then said that the person probably goes to Kutztown.

There's a major reason why Dan's assumption would be wrong, and being a Kutztown grad (masters) I feel the need to defend it.

Kutztown University is within spitting distance of Allentown which has MANY WaWa stores. In fact the first store you'll encounter is on Route 100 near where it meets up with I-78. If this guy/gal who wrote misses WaWa stores, then Dan's assumption that it was Kutztown seems unlikely.

My guess would be Shippensburg, Clarion, or some other school in the "Slate Belt" which would certainly qualify as "The Taint of Pennsylvania".

So Dan, why the assumption it was Kutztown?

---UPDATE---

A quick Facebook search revealed that the email's author goes to Penn College in Williamsport, PA. More towards the mid-north area of the state. Other schools in the area are Bucknell University, and Lycoming College.
