see like in the title it typed [Option]+[;] to get the triple dot as a singular character [...] but it turns it into like a question mark
example: ![]() it makes me think my post sound like i've got an upward inflection on everything i say! and whats up with my username? like the capitol letters are all gone… it was like DH_Jin soz probs been brought up before but havn't searched through |

What web browser and OS are you using? Both your examples are showing the ... correctly for me in both Safari and Firefox.

i'm using firefox on a mac but like above i typed out what i want to come out. but okay trying? [edit] nope still a question mark its like supposed to be [option]+[;] to equal[...] but it comes out as [?] d'you watch the vid? hahaha thats how i sound like now when i type? ^ those were typed using the keyboard shortcut you are using on my Mac, and show up correctly in Firefox and Safari. Try going to the "View" menu and looking at your Character Encoding menu. It should be set to either "Automatically detect" or "Unicode UTF-8". That's the only thing I can think of which would mess it up. Either that or your font files are corrupt. YAY thank you!! yeah my unicode auto-detect was off. and writing style was western (ISO-8859-1). thank you!! i'm no longer talking with an upward inflection? ![]() [edit] nooooooooooooo!!!!! maybe my font files are corrupt? how can i fix them? ![]() i set it to auto-detect=universal and writing style to unicode UTF-8? Sorry, not sure what to tell you, that's not something we can help with. It definitely seems more like a problem with your system than the forums, and that's really as far as we have the resources to help.
