the dice in the box trick is called "Die Cipher II". I am looking to try and figure out the method but so far no luck! I posted a video for cannibal cards below

I want to say it has something to do with maybe the die isn't entirely cube.. maybe it has slightly irregular sizes and it elevates the lid a certain amount.. but that would only give you a 50/50 chance... So I doubt it

I gotta say, close-up card tricks are freekin' awesome. There's so much skill and performance to put one of these tricks together and you're doing it for such a small audience. It bespeaks a real love for the craft. Bravo, Brian.

That card trick was pretty cool. And that Die trick is just...wow...I have no clue on how he did that.

That card trick was great, I need to work on the dexterity to be able to handle the cuts and card placements...as for the Dice Trick. I am not 100% sure how it works, but after doing some research, the trick is readily available for purchase, most comments say how easy the device is to read, so I'm guessing there is somewhere on the box that shows what choice you have done.

I am also guessing that is not the first time shwood has came across Die Cipher II, I have a feeling there might have been some acting there!!!

I came to this forum thread resolute to ask about that card trick because it just gripped my attention all the way through and genuinely had be impressed... Well, obviously it did, it was awesome. When I was watching I speculated that there could be some kind of double flip going on, as in when Brian turned the cards about to be gobbled I thought he might've let another card turn with it, but after a brief think on it I decided that wasn't very useful :P

I'm gonna start working on learning this one as in the tutorial posted - thanks much for providing it certainphate!
