X-Force is the black ops for the X-Men. Scott gives them a target and they take it down. Currently, they are fighting several old enemies of mutantkind who have been revived by Master Mold using the techno virus. The team dynamic is really interesting. Rahne has a post-hypnotic suggestion to remove Angel's wings; Angel freaks out and turns into Archangel every time Rahne's around. Wolverine is supposed to be the leader but he generally tries to talk people out of being on the team. X-23 likes killing. Elixir joined the team for some odd reason and he put a tumor into Vanisher's head to keep him loyal.
It's an intense and exciting book. It's not very cerebral but it's very thrilling. |

Alrite thanks for the advice everybody. I've decided to continue with x-force but keep an eye out for cable. I've already ordered the first 2 trades of X-force.

I'm looking forward to seeing X-23 return to her hunt for the Leper Queen. Messiah War while I enjoyed reading it in issue form when it was coming out. Now I just don't see what the point of it was. Everyone is almost right back where they started before the crossover. I'm definitely keeping X-force on my subscription list especially since Choi is taking over. I loved his Messiah War Prologue One Shot that came out a few months ago, and will continue to pick up Cable at least a ways into the next story arc.
