...can only agree ....I'd rather have Veronica in as a co-host in Systm ... even if she does no soldering (that I know of) .. she is atleast geek *Lol*

but better still .. Bring back systm .. ...with all new hosts!

im sure dave calkins would have continued the show without patrick, but after the way he found out that his own show was cancelled I wouldn't blame him if he ignores all calls from Rev3...

let me put it this way... systm and maybe one or two other shows are the ONLY reasons I am still coming to rev3. One of those shows is now gone and the others are slowly but surely falling apart. When that happens I, and the people that share my taste in shows (seems like the majority of people on the forums) won't be spending too much time watching the ads on Rev3. Calling me fed up is an understatement at this point...

HINT TO REVISION3: Look at the poll numbers... 92/103 people (at time of this post) say that they want systm back

I would like Systm back. But you have to understand having a poll like this is never going to be accurate.

For a start, it's posted in the Systm forum - so people coming here are most likely fans of the show and of course are going to want it back.

Secondly, the forums as a whole (not just the Systm forum) are the hardcore Revision3 viewers I would suspect and not representative of the overall audience.

And thirdly the ratio within *this* community is good reason to bring it back until you realise that 92 fans wanting a show back can not justify paying presenters, studio resources, project time and research time.

I'm not saying people don't want it back, some do (including myself!) but I don't think your "Revision3 needs to listen to me because of a poll" will get anywhere.

I would think a network with geeky shows and shows about geek culture would have geeks as the target audience. Where do the geeks hang out? The forums.

I realize they want to broaden their audience, but like you said, we are the hardcore, die-hard Rev3 fans... the geeks.

More accurately, where do some of the geeks hang out. There's 4,549 active members in this community. If I go to Youtube alone and go to a recent daily episode of Tekzilla (the flagship tech show) @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8egdkg_kt8 you will see it had 2,253 views not including itunes, zune, website, etc. (and Veronica's Digg Reel had more than 50k!)

To think that because Rev3's target audience has typically been geeks means they're going to use the forums is optimistic at best.

Can only agree. Why should i return to Rev3 in the future if they keep messing up och cancel all my favorite shows? If i want to watch manstream mediocre showes..I would watch mainstream media...I dont apeal to me..so i dont watch that.

to be 100% fair, of course you will get a 90%+ approval on that pool from this crowd...


i must admit i myself had not downloaded the show in a while .. i always figured i would at some point. thing is, most shows have to end at some point, when they've exhausted whatever it is that made them special in the beginning. im not saying that was the case with systm: like i said, i havent watched it in a while. might just be a sponsorship issue.. who knows.

so uh yea ... maybe if they find a few more interesting projects in the future the show will come back .. pixelperfect did anyway .. but remember, all good things must come to an end !
