I searched the forum but I didn't find a walking dead thread so I started one.

I'm on issue 49 and I got to say this comic is not for the faint of heart. What happened in issue 48 just killed me inside. I don't even want to keep on reading cause I don't think I can take much more.

I also have i think all the issues from 40 and up?

I love it alot, it kinda had lost it a bit but...i still love it

the series so far is at a 10 out of 10 so I can understand if it dips down to a 9 or 8 for a while cause there is only so much you can do with a zombie story like this. But did they really have to die like that ? the governor is officially number one on my villains I really really hate list.

I only read this in trades, I think it reads better that way.


I can only assume the event you are referring to is the same event at the end of trade 8.

Which is the reason I've had trade 9 for months but can't bring myself to read it.

I'm also reading it in trades, and man, I gotta agree with the above poster, the places the story goes at times is like being punched in the stomach, in a good way...I guess.

That story arc is as dark as anything I've read and I almost quit reading myself, but I just had to know.

yeah that's why I'm going to keep reading it eventually I just need some time to get over what I just read. glad to see I'm not the only one who took it hard.

I was reading the trades of this series, but they took so long to come out I eventually forgot to get them anymore. Anyways, all those books are back at my parent's place, got left behind when I moved out. I want to pick it up again, but I don't know what issue I'm on anymore :P

Does anyone know what issue is the one when they get kidnapped by the leader of a town which has been feeding zombies for sports events? He keeps fish tanks of heads. It's after they've been living in the prison for a while.
