Default Top 5 indie books?

I'm in a top 5 mood. (I'm actually looking for recommendations too)

I've just bought a pile of indie books, including one that will apparently make me want to slit my wrists but errr... in a good way?

So throw me your top 5 indie books. No Vertigo etc allowed. Proper indie schmindie here please.

Hm...I'm not sure if I can give a list, but...

LOCKE & KEY, CHEW, GUERILLAS, FOUR EYES, SHERLOCK HOLMES, UMBRELLA ACADEMY, CARS: THE ROOKIE, IRREDEEMABLE, AND THE INCREDIBLES: FAMILY MATTERS have really impressed me as of late.

THE WALKING DEAD, INVINCIBLE, SCOTT PILGRIM, FREAKANGELS, DOKTOR SLEEPLESS, ABSOLUTION, IGNITION CITY and PROOF are books that have been around a while, but are absolutely excellent.

As far as stuff that's been finished...Y: THE LAST MAN is on the top of this list, along with I KILL GIANTS, BATTLEFIELDS: DEAR BILLY, THE ROBERTS, and a bunch I probably can't think of right now, ha.

In the webcomics realm, I'm a huge fan of PENNY ARCADE, QUESTIONABLE CONTENT, and XKCD. Another thing to be on the lookout for in the next months is Eric Trautmann and Brandon Jerwa's WIDE AWAKE which can be found at www.wideawakeonline.com

If you're into graphic novels, BLANKETS is the greatest, as are GOODBYE, CHUNKY RICE, BONE, BOX OFFICE POISON, and TOO COOL TO BE FORGOTTEN.

Good luck in your search! I'm sure I'm leaving a bunch out.

Wow, a lot of stuff there I love. We have very similar tastes. I've not heard of GOODBYE CHUNKY RICE. Gonna check it out now. Thanks a lot.

Irredeemable, Life and Times of Savior 28, Crossed, No Hero, and Unthinkable. Currently my top five favorite indy runs thus far. But as far as I've seen, you already collect a few of these, if I'm not mistaken.
