I just wanted to write to share my experience with the Rev3 Store since it seems that there is some ambiguity to the system.
I ordered three items last Sunday night (7/26) and paid extra for the 2-Day Fed-Ex shipping ($23) because I needed the items as soon as possible (before Tuesday 8/4). Today, Monday (8/3) all of my items arrived. It took a week flat, BUT they came regular mail - USPS. (As a reference I live in California and it looks as though the shipment came from Georgia.) So everything got here on time, but on the Rev3 Store website under "Order History" it still shows that my items have not shipped yet ("Your order is waiting to ship. No shipping estimate is currently available"). The only other sign that I knew (read: hoped) things were moving in a forwardly direction is that they charged my credit card on Wednesday (7/29). There are two things that I found frustrating with the above situation: 1) They didn’t keep the online tracking system up to date. I think I speak for most of the people in this part of the forums when I say that we expect more (feedback). Clique and Sparkart are dealing with web-savvy customers with not only us Rev3 people, but bands like Radiohead and others who are well-versed in online commerce. They really need to have an email address, or even a phone number available, or at the very least, a comment section in the actual order form process to inform them on any circumstances they should be aware of – like my time requirement, or delivery requests like not leaving packages on porches or with neighbors, etc. 2) If you are going to charge me an overly inflated shipping amount with an explicit courier service named (Fed-Ex) – use them AND make it worth it in “time saved”. I’m not sure if I have become spoiled by other online retailers like Amazon and Wine Library, but I just feel the Rev3 Store experience was too numb and slow to make it worth using again. I know this is not Revision3’s problem explicitly, but it may be worth someone at Revision3 talking to someone in client relations at Clique and/or Sparkart to resolve these issues for future purchasers.
