Pet-whorin' time!


This is Yoda. He'll be 19 years old this summer, though he appears and acts much younger. This cat is everything to me.




This was up at Grizzley Peak. In the background is San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Sausalito, further down the peninsula, the Bay and Golden Gate Bridges, etc.. I hope this place never becomes a tourist spot. It's gorgous, and I don't want it ruined somehow.




On January 1st I took him on a trip. This is at Pier 39 (duh) in San Francisco. He was fascinated by the seals.




This is a terrible pic of me, but it had been a long day. He just sat on my arm like this all day, curious as can be, and no, he's not likely to jump, which is why I didn't bother with a leash. I can stick my arm out with him on it and he'll stay there.



People are NOT used to seeing a cat out and about. But most people don't think about taking a cat places. Even a dog who is unused to the public will be frightened. But Yoda is used to it and trusts me, so he's fine going out with me. Lolz, even people at the pier were asking for pics of and with him. I absolutely adore this cat!!

wow that is an old cat...but looks spry for his age.

..here is mine her name is Athena and she acts like I am her mother she just can't seem to stay away from me but I guess it's because I saved her when she was two weeks old of an insane kid torturing and killing the other cats in the litter 8 years ago.


She is so wierd and does not act like most cats..she is dependent and like to be on her back very laid back..nothing bothers her.

Holy gods that is a giant cat! I believe it's a fallacy that all cats are dependent. Yoda is very dependent, but Kenya is not. They're like night and day, and Kenya back sleeps. So there really isn't a typical, or at least I don'e believe there is. And, as far as Athena is concerned, you ARE mommy.

Yoda moves like an old man at night sometimes, but otherwise, he eats Science Diet senior food and moves very well. He doesn't jump onto high ledges anymore, but jumps onto my bed. He sleeps on me most nights. And he loves laying on my pillows when I put the velvet cases on them.


This is Kenya. She was my ex-roommate's cat. I was originally going to have her for a short time until my ex-roommate got a place of her own, and then Mere was going to take her back. But it's been over two months and Mere has shown no interest not has she seen Kenya, so I think it's safe to call Kenya mine now.




She wasn't thrilled about being woken up with a camera flashing in her face. I wouldn't be either.




But a backrub later and she's back asleep.

Daisy enjoys running around the house in completely and total udder randomness and chasing her tennis ball. She also loves biting the leg of my pants while I am trying to walk which is annoying. Daisy is crazy.

I have two cats. Both are black. One is sleeping on me as I type this. The other is walking around meowing at stuff.

I do not own a digital camera or scanner.

Mr. Gilmores hard drive crashed and he is very sad but will be with a computer come Monday.
