Just purchased a Tivo HDXL box. Installed the cable card and basic cable comes through fine but when I get into my digital channels I get a message on the screen that says my tv (43" Pioneer Elite Pro-920HD) is not hdcp compliant. I have a PS3 that I have been playing through this same TV with no problem until now! The PS3 was in input 1 and the Tivo in input 3. When I had the HDCP issue with the Tivo I decided to switch the PS3 to input 3 and the tivo to input 1, this is when the ps3 stopped showing on the screen but I started receiving the digital cable channels on the tivo! I just figured I had a bad hdmi port. I saw the review on the HDMI switchers so I ordered the monoprice hdx-401e. While waiting for it to come to my door I decided I wanted to watch a movie on my PS3 so I unhooked the tivo from hdmi port 1 and plugged in the ps3. I watched the movie, unplugged the ps3 from hdmi port 1 and plugged in the tivo to hdmi port 1. Guess what! The freaking tivo gave me the hdcp error message again when I turned to the digital channels!! No matter which port I try neither will make the ps3 or the tivo work!!! Arrrrgghhhhh!!!! Now I have resulted to using the component cables for the Tivo and the playstation, not good!!!!! I recieved the monoprice switcher in the mail and hooked it up in hopes that it would magically solve problem but no such luck!!! I called tivo and they are blaming it on pioneer! I called pioneer and they are blaming it tivo! The pioneer guy did tell me that there are no firmware updates for my tv. Hope ya'll can help me!!!Please don't make me watch this beautiful tv with component cables!!!!!!!
