i downloaded this app for jailbreak (sydia) called categories. it makes me only have (beleive it or not) one icon (i really dont have 1 but if i wanted to i would) heres how it works: you make folders of apps instead of all the clutter you usaly have. you can evan make folders of folders! remember its for jailbreak

It is nice, but it's ad-supported, which is lame. I'd rather pay a couple of bucks to have those removed. I also don't like waiting for the 'folder' to open. I would much rather use PogoPlank (see my screenshot on page 2).

I'm just a lurker but when I viewed the latest episode I had to signup and comment. The video at 5:03... Icy is an installer app and snow is an unlocker. Icy is from the RipDev Team. While snow came out just recently because of a certain buzz in the scene lately about a $10,000 reward for anyone who can unlock the new baseband. Geohot did not take the money of course. Just had to mention it and Kudos to your work. Respect!

Actually i have an iphone 3gs officially unblocked by apple its the HK version
and its jailbreaked with the newest firmware 3.1.2 i just want to know that in case that a new update comes up can i just update it or do i need to check the black rain info ??
do anyone has any idea if is there any new iphone model coming any soon ??

I have seen Steve "The Woz" Wozniak allegedl;y jailbreak a phone on national tv. Could not be that evil. Personally I would not own a product that will not let you modify it. I can understand why they do it, but I think phone companies are too big for their britches also. As the android phone becomes more popular, I wonder how the sales of the iphone will fair.. Most telecoms I think are abandoning the iphone. at least to some extent. There needs to be a secure alternative os for the iphone.

You wont lose your unlock, but updating to apples new official firmware releases will remove your jailbreak. Never update your phone when apple releases their new firmwares.
