Default Watching Tekzilla via Television

Hello,

Is there a way to download this show as an AVI or MPG file? I would like to download to my server for later watching.

I have a WDTV live that I can watch AVI or MPG files that are stored on my server. I would like to download and watch later on my WDTV.

Is there another way of watching this show on my television without a computer hooked up to my TV.

I do not have Tivo service.

Thanks,
cs

Hey narsaw,

it says here that MP4 should play just fine on the WDTV.

The other way to watch on your TV would be to burn to DVD I would say. Aside from that you can look into converting into whatever format you need.

Best of luck.

Edit: Check this thread as well.

The download tab for each episode (as well as the RSS feeds on the main Tekzilla page) gives various options for downloading, all of which are supported by the WDTV Live.

Also, for those who don't have a set top box of the sort, you can convert them to DVD using a program like DVD Flick or FAVC (Both free). If your DVD player is DivX Certified (more and more are, especially Philips players), then you can just burn a data disc with the Xvid version and it should play fine.

For the act of burning itself, always use ImgBurn, which has a nice feature where it will sense what you're trying to burn and ask you what you're trying to burn if you do something wrong, like choose the wrong disc file system.

Thumbs up

Not sure if this helps, but I watch the show on an auto feed from Tivo.

That costs $50, though. DVD Flick and FAVC are free and both work tremendously well.

Just to add, I either watch through iTunes, or Boxee.
