well, there are a lot of nerds that watch rev3 shows, so i'm sure this show will be a fairly big hit. i, however, have never gotten into Anime stuff. so, I won't be watching this. cool to see new shows popping up though. best of luck AnimeTV

edit: actually, there is one anime show that i did get into: fists of the northstar (oldschool stuff i think)

Yay, AnimeTV is back, that show has been seemed dead for like a year or 2.

http://goanimetv.com/ Here is there main site where you'll find there old episodes. Nice to see that Johnny Yong Bosch is still part of the show, and he's been known to play Adam the Black Ranger, and also was the main voice for Bleach and Trigun, and other which would be a few.

Default Great First Show

This looks to be a fun and informative show. I was wondering why Rev3 hadn't developed an ANIME show, but now they have. Anyways keep up the good work guys.

Yeah, I' enjoy watching anime, but I don't get "into it" like the guys on this show. I put this up next to iFanboy.. for die-hard geeks. I never watch that show

I do like watching iFanboy, but at least they discus current comics. I would also LOVE to add an anime/manga video podcast to my line-up.

However, Kenichi aired in 2006 or as I like to call it "almost half a decade ago". The same goes for Naruto Shippuden which started airing in 2007. I've noticed that a lot of US anime news sources only cover series when they come out there, ignoring that most of the world just watches the series as they come out in Japan. If AnimeTV will continue on the same course and will not cover the series that are coming out now, I will definitely not keep watching.

I love REV3 and I love anime, so I figured this was a no-brainer! So far... I am really disappointed. I guess I am a "purist" I want my anime subbed not dubbed! And apparently thats what the do here, dubbed. I hope in the future they will cover some of both!

And to the guy from the dubbing group: the internet, fan subs, and "illegal" downloads have done more to promote anime around the world than any dubbing group! Anime producers have started to realize this! They are starting to embrace the internet, providing streams, subbed, instantly for a minute fee, or on a week delay for free! Genius! DB, the best fansubbers for Naruto even acknowledged this, and stopped subbing Naruto, stating that their motive was never to hurt the company, and since they were going to provide a viable alternative, a fansub was no longer needed.

my two cents

In times I feel like a complete uber nerd, it's nice to watch a show like this and realize that I still have 1 up on anime nerds...

Man I cringe sometimes when I see anime folk, just because I know I'm a 1st cousin to them on the Nerdydom family tree...

But its good to see Rev3 is making good choices. Though I'm not an anime fan this show still seems pretty interesting. I will keep watching. Who knows!? I may actually watch an anime one day!

Gonna have to agree with ya. I dunno if the show will really be able to keep me entertained or interested if they are only covering us releases and dubbed anime. Hopefully the newer episodes will cover whats being released in Japan now.
