Cut it out with that crap.

I think this show was done pretty well. The ninja guy part didn't bother me at all. I thought from the beginning that this first episode may just be to draw in the majority of people with this stuff, and more esoteric stuff will follow. I have no problem with that.

Default It's only the beginning. Keep it up.

I use to be an Anime watcher. But as I'm getting older, I was more drawn toward the mangas and comic books instead. I guess it has to do with the pacing of a story being told in print in comparison to moving images. They are so many Anime shows that I rather like in manga format. One Piece and Kenshin are some of the examples. However, i don't really share much of these interest among my friends because I thought it was uncool to liek these things. However, iFanboy discuss the content in a way that really draw me back to comic books. As for anime, it's a bit different. The recent anime convention I went to was just way too young for me. I know the audience is growing, but the majority of the audience are teenagers. It's a bit unbearable to see them act so silly. I hope the show can bring the content to a different light, to a more mature audience. I don't think the silly antics of anime characters can last for the older audience.

As for my opinion of the first episode:
1. The fallen in love to an Anime like a silly fangirl did rub a lot of people the wrong way. I hope that's just who she is and not an act.
2. The boom studio part did get me a bit dizzy. Not to the point of Pokemon seizure, but it's there.
3. I love the review roundtable of GITS 2.0 i guess its been a year since they've been doing it. They look a bit rusty. I'm sure that will improve as time goes on.
Overall the show is average, I'm sure things will be improve as weeks to come. Making it a weekly show will help the show to improve and consistency.

I do hope you guys will talk about "Time of Eve." I don't know if you guys only review dubbed animes. I hope you guys will talk about something like "Time of Eve" which is an episodic show on the internet. I don't know any other anime series that uses the web like "Time of Eve." Hope you guys find more of that. =)

Time of Eve - http://timeofeve.com/e/ All 6 webisodes can be watched online. =)

I'm going to subscribe the show and keep up the good work. As long as you don't miss a week, you guys will improve. =)

The majority of anime fans are not like this. I understand it's a large market, but it's also fickle and prone to leaving the anime area rather quickly. I quit my anime club in College because of people that constantly acted like that. I understand fanboyism, I'm a video game journalist, so I know the whole PS3 vs Xbox or PC vs Mac kind of debate, but this stuff is so annoying and has gone to the level that it has ruined one of my favorite conventions. Hell, the chances of me going back to that convention are slim to none because of this. Naruto had a part with that too, of course, but it's this annoying drooling that doesn't make for good conversation, it makes you look moronic and kills your talking points.

Please, PLEASE tone it down! I want this show to succeed, but the level of obnoxious perpetuating negative stereotypes gives anime fans a bad name. We'll see how the next few episodes turn out before I make a final choice.
I couldn't agree with this statement more. I have been a long time anime fan for 15+ years and the over the top wackyness just really made me cringe. When it got into a conversation everyone seemed to know what they were talking about and was for the most part. I will check this out for a while to see what is to come. I listen to very few anime podcasts since there really are not that many good ones out there so I really would hope that this show will be a regular weekly show for me.

I'm a very picky fan when it comes to anime. I tend to watch a lot of the older series and very few modern anime shows so I don't expect what you review I will love. Though there is always one show like Darker Than Black then I just fall in love with and can't get enough of. If I want super deep and very long conversations about old school anime then I will listen to AWO.

I do like that the people that are part of the show are at least attempting to figure out the kinks and improve the show. For that alone I will give this show a fair shot for a while.

So far I dig this show. I feel like I've been out of the loop when it comes to anime since the last actual anime I've was into was D.Gray-man when it was first airing. (I bought Season 1 Part 1 on Blu-ray today!)

Having said that I hope that this show will cover Anime that is new in Japan. I get this is only ep 1 and this is really just testing out the water.

Also I am not liking the whole "glitch" gimmick because I found it to be distracting during the Bang Zoom Entertainment segment.

That's all.
