Tired, my voice is pretty much non-existent, but its all worth it.
ALA6 AnimeTv coverage will be shown soon enough, but thats not the point. What Cons are you guys going to? What places do you think we should be? Share your con thoughts and moments here. |

http://www.animecons.com/members/log.shtml/1 I know you guys are LA-based, but please please please don't only visit the LA-area or California cons. They have cons in almost every continent and 45 states, so get out there and hit up some of the medium-sized ones that might normally get overlooked. I mean, Anime Central, Anime Boston, and Anime Weekend Atlanta are awesome, but I'd like to see coverage from places like Nan Desu Kan, Ohayocon, and San-Japan. Some smaller cons too...where attendance is in the hundreds. BTW: Next episode of the AnimeCons.com Podcast will be posted on Monday. It includes my annual list of the 10 largest anime cons in North America.

Man, I would so love to attend a great Anime con with a fat wallet. I live in New Zealand, most 'expos' around these parts just have an anime corner. One of my friends flew over to Otakon a few years back - sounded massively fun. My huge lack of funds prevents me from doing something like that in the forseeable future. But hey - Have good coverage of them on ATV! I'll experience the whole thing with Roy as my proxy.
Just don't do anything too creepy! |

I went to ALA this year, my first time there. I'll probably be at PMX and Mikomicon as well and I always end up at AX.

I've only been to Nekocon in Hampton, VA. Only because it's 30 minutes away from where I live. I'd like to travel around to some one day though, when I'm more financially able. I am planning on going to PAX East this march as well, but that's not an ANIME convention.

Sweet then you prolly saw us running around (I was the one with the Tallest TopHat that didn't look green there) and I know I will be running into you at some other cons as well if that's your plan.

Are you guys ever going to post when you go to cons and such, because it would totally be cool to have a real discussion with you guys every now and then. And by that, I mean in their own topics, and not just in this one.
Cheers. Last edited by yokai : 01-22-2010 at 06:26 AM. |
