Sword and Poker

I know, I know. You hardly know her.

This is a cool 99 cent game for the iphone. So, the short pitch is, this game is puzzlequest, except that in battle instead of a match three system, you do damage to your opponent by making the best poker hand possible from four hold cards and the cards on the table.

I'm digging it so far. Here's some video:

Ah darn. I thought this was going to be a thread about horribly mismatched dueling weapons.

The game looks like a good bit of fun. I'm liking the new trend of puzzle games integrated with some sort of adventure or a story connecting the games. I do wish there was something comparable on Windows Mobile as my favorite game that I play for quick trips the water closet and such is Pocket Uno which for some reason entertains me.

Aaaaaand once again I made no progress on Arkham Asylum because I can't stop playing a hand-held game. I'm totally hooked on this thing. An absolute steal at 99 cents.
