But, you don't see alex stroking kevin at any point, regardless of how drunk they get they still have sensibility. And you don't see them trying to fondle the godaddy girls when they are on the set either.
Drunk Alex and drunk Kevin are more sensible than sober Nick.

WTF this isn't CNN or the 11 o clock news this is a weekly podcast on anime hosted by a bunch of young adults. Hell if i was in Nicks position i would have a rather hard time myself not following in his footsteps.

I thought episode 8 was pretty good. I was so bored with the anime review not gen. one but yea i cant even remember it was so boring. Im glad laura brought up 12 kingdoms thats a really good anime. O yea someth like toray something the anime she was review i dont know it sounded like a good review but i just got bored watching it. Nick lol was fricken funny the whole episode XD you guys need more stuff like he brought a pizza box one time. Which was really funny. And now the deo.

Right on brotha. This isn't a professor's lecture long bland lecture. The show is supposed to be fun. The way they mess around and joke on the show is what alot of us(including me and my friends) do from time to time. Pretending to rub deodorant all over each other is just harmless fun.
And I wouldn't compare this to the guy's at digg nation fondling the godaddy girls. The cast of ATV obviously know each other very well and this is their type of humor.
All these complaints are simply making a mountain out of a mole hill.

for me its similar to what i didn't like about some of the first episodes

the way most people mess around with their friends is only fun for those involved, its not something that's entertaining for others to watch.

I, like others, much prefer the 'out-and-about' segments from Japan rather than the one person run-down of an anime. I think having multiple "segments" where one of the cast members reviews an anime by themselves is redundant and unnecessary.

That aside, I thought the review was well done, well worded, and unbiased. I dislike number ratings though.

On a side note, it looks like Japan uses the same type of ACs that they do here in China. At the top left of the corner, I saw what appears to be a tube running through the wall, I'm assuming this is connected to the AC/Heater unit and runs outside. I find these units to be very 'temperamental' and have a hard time equalizing a temperature. I find them to either be too hot (heater) or too cold (ac) and never keep the room at the correct temperature. However, for what they are (think window unit in the US) they do a nice job and are much more efficient than central air and heat.

I've been hard on Laura, and I must give credit when credit is due. She wasn't annoying this episode. Thanks for that Laura. I don't hate you, I just hate some of the things you say regularly.

Jon does another great job co-hosting and playing Couch Coach, although I still have a problem with the dress code as a 'co-host'. It still looks 'cheap' to me to have Cristina dressed in rather nice close, and Jon dressed in a t-shirt. Sloppy. That's ok on the couch and in segments, but the Co-Hosts should match on screen. Of course maybe I'm a bit too uptight.

Nick and Miley - get a room! :P

I honestly have no problem with what Jon wears as a host. In fact I think it would look odd if he was dressed up half the time and dressed normally the other half. I like his anime tshirts.

I think it's not jon being underdressed, but it is cristina who is over dressed sometimes. On the first episode she wore what looked like a red prom dress. I think it's make more sense to see her in regular, casual attire.

Agreed - Either Cristina should wear less formal attire, or (if Jon will continue to co-host) he should wear more formal attire so they are at the same level of attire.

ya, i agree, its more that cristina overdressed than jonathan being under dressed

Jonathan does a good job at being a host, i see him as being charismatic
