I thought I had the second one until Brian changed the rules. But the third one's not so bad once you slip your head away from the thumb.
Interesting episode as it is pretty different than most others. |

Here's a leverage feat that can be done without leaving the table. It might serve as a good build-up to the other leverage feats.
Bend your middle finger and place the centre section flat on a table or hard surface. All the other fingers should be extended as normal, and touching the surface. It should look like this picture, except with the middle finger knuckle flat on the table. Try lifting your thumb. That shouldn't be a problem. Try lifting your pinky. Again, it shouldn't be a problem. Try lifting your index finger. Still no problem. Now try lifting your ring finger. Surprise! In this position, you can't lift your ring finger because the middle finger and ring finger use the same tendon to move, and since your middle finger is folded down, it's putting enough tension on the tendon to prevent the middle finger from moving. Here's an alternative way of doing the same feat, but without a table and with the hands together. |

This actually reminded me of when I was a kid. I had a subscription to Ranger Rick magazine, and they would often run these "Tricks To Play on Your Friends" articles (please, like kids who read Ranger Rick had friends). The "pick up the money" trick was in there, along with the old "head-against-the-wall-two-steps-back-then-try-to-stand-up" one.
And yeah, the thumb-on-forehead can be tough to pull off, with the person wiggling about trying to stand. Good, fun episode, though *thumbs up* |

just a quick notification for the second trick. Most if not all Women will be able to do this trick. Guys cannot because men and women have different centers of gravity. Just a heads up for those.
