Just wanted to point out that Matt Smith is barely the youngest Doctor Who. He is 28. The previous holder of that title is Peter Davidson who started playing the role when we was 30.

Since we're being nitpicky, I'll point out he's actually 27.

I wasn't being nit-picky. Just pointing out that a young Doctor Who is not unprecedented.

If I was nitpicky, I would point out that the fourth episode of the Doctor Who serial "The Keeper of Traken" where Tom Baker regenerated into Peter Davidson aired in Feb 1981 when Peter Davidson was only 29.

i appreciate the level of restraint to not make the entire episode about the iPad. If one more tech show/blog/news-thingy rumbles on about the iPad I may scream. I know you guys have to cover it; but I'm just at the point that I don't care. The only Apple news I care about anymore is the refresh to the Macbook line. The iPhone 4.0 release was horribly disappointing but hey, my Google phone arrives tomorrow. Although you talked a lot about multitasking which I get 4.0 will address. Zimbra is crap but the iPad version of Gmail looked nice.

And not to be that guy ... but an iPad with a keyboard ... with a little duct tape isn't that a laptop? I can see a laptop where you "undock" the top and it turns into an iPad but if the iPad doesn't do voice recognition perfectly or something, I'm not willing to let go of the keyboard.

I also hunted for those batuca battery cases after that episode although I didn't go to tad-gear. I didn't want green. Doing a search for "batuca" will fine a number of sites selling that those cases.

guess what ive had a whole pc failure and will have to put down like $500 for new current gen parts to replace whats not working in my pc as of right now im not sure the extent of the damage untill i start replacing parts. but its going to take me months to get the money togetehr for the new parts off of newegg. the problems started off with garbled graphics on applications and then it went to not being able to boot into windows xp without a bsod about my n4 file and then it went to not being able to send a video signal over eaither the old 7600gs or teh new gts250 that i bought to replace what i thought was a dying graphics card now it goes to the machine not coming on at times when i hit the power button.

If your only a consumer of data then maybe the ipad is fine, With all the finger touching, you will definately need iwindex. Reports of major issues with the wifi should be a concern.http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source=...cdf8cbbf06dc4f. But if you have more to do than to be babysitted by the web,,I prefer a real computer so can both consume and create. It is more time efficient.

My 50 cent ipad works just great. I can create what I want and not worry about being limited by some app store.

I could not ask for a better ipad review. It wasn't overblown, didn't take up the entire show, was to the point, and visually informative. I now know for sure that I won't buy one (though I wasn't considering buying one anyway). Thanks guys!
