Default Leaking the latest iPhone deets

C'mon Kevin! Grousing about someone leaking info about iPhone? I remember back in the day when Kevin loved to leak details about the latest ipod and iphone.

I guess his sources were fired long ago...

Totally agree with Alex on PC gaming. I'm not much of a gamer anymore but after many years of being used to a PC, I bought an Xbox and hated everything about it - the poor build quality, the weird controller, the locked-down options, the buggy interface, the proprietary connectors, etc. Not to mention the cost - felt like I had been ripped off on the console, the accessories, the games... and then I had to pay a subscription just to play with my friends on the damn thing?! Glad to be rid, PC FTW.

Default Whipped

Poor Kevin, sounds like he's been (insert naughty word) whipped. He has to "sneak" ice cream so the sugar Nazi girl friend won't get upset.
At least she still "lets" him drink beer!

ONLY if the fridge is being run empty. A full fridge is a more energy efficient fridge than the same fridge half empty.

First most people don't understand how friges work so they dont care...

I personally like computer gaming over xbox etc but there is nothing wrong with the xbox and by the time its done your paying much more on PC than on xbox.

I don't think its her but him. I am at the point of stop watching the show because of him and his crap about food every week. He has gone off in the deep end and want to watch the real diggnation and not some f'ing Hi I am Kevin and I am the CEO so I can complain about food. You can see its has to be wearing thin on Alex because he isn't looking happy about it anymore.

Fact is you can eat anything your body wont puke and you can eat all the cool stuff as long as you only do it every so often. His BS views on how cows and chickens are raised is BS. They are not all packed into boxes and raised or pumped full of the same meds you take.

Stop preaching about these films and books that are all the same and what you can't understand they are also made by or printed by the same people who own money in fast food or stores like trader joes etc..

I gave up on PC gaming many years ago. The constant upgrades so you could keep playing the latest releases was pissing me off. It got to the point where it literally drove me away from gaming totally.

It was only because of consoles (Xbox - original, chipped, and PS3) that I got back into gaming. The platform remains constant, the upgrade cycles were broken. Games are still great. I am not a hardcore gamer any more. Definitely fall into the social/casual mould now.

The thing is, you can buy a fancy computer once, and do tons of modern things very well (let's face it, even though you have a console you STILL own a PC).. you're now separating your budget.

All you have to do is invest a decent amount of money into a computer that will last you a few years. People have this weird notion that you have to run every game at max settings or else the computer is obsolete. Look at your Xbox360... No antialiasing, and now, being.. 4? years down the line, the graphics department can't really compete. If you bought a PC that lets you run modern games on the same settings that your 360 runs, it wouldn't cost you as much as you think. The problem is, when you get a PC you start cranking the settings, and things start running badly. But at least you have the option to try. Anti-aliasing is the single biggest performance hit in games. That's why consoles don't use it.

when the next generation comes out, let's hope you don't get screwed on backwards compatibility. On the PC, I can play any of the games I own, whenever I want. And when I replace my PC, I can still play all the same games.

I don't have a modern console, but a few of my friends have 360's... I always was kind of sad when they got exclusives that didn't come to PC... but I'm borrowing a friend's while he's going abroad and I have to say... It makes me happy I don't own one. It's slow, loud, and extremely restricted on functionality.
