Exclamation Episode 1 - F@#% You Seth MacFarlane! - The Tea Party is Racist? - [DISCUSSION]

Our friend Penn makes frequent appearances on a little show you may have heard of. It's called Larry King Live.

During one such appearance, Penn found himself defending the Tea Party protests: first, from Rachael Harris (The Hangover) who calls them racist, and second, from funny man Seth MacFarlane, who calls them corporate puppets and backs that up with a self-defeating argument right out of Quahog, Rhode Island.

Thanks Penn. I really loved the commentary today but the camera work was nauseating. I can deal with the restless twitch moving back and forth but the handheld camera was too much.

I really do love the concept of the series though and am looking forward to more Points.

First off I'm very excited to see this show come about on Rev3!

Thank you for the great episode, I've already posted it on my twitter and facebook feeds to get some eyes on it. I truly enjoy that you are a thinker and can look at things from multiple angles. I try to do this as much as possible, to the point that I stopped listening to talk radio, because it doesn't actually talk about values and thoughts, it is just talking points. I hope this show will continue for a long time. Thank you

Brad

Penn reminds me of a wild animal pacing around in its cage at the zoo.

I like the split screen idea with additional footage etc., but the rest is a bit gimmicky and distracting. Either way it's what he says that matters, so I'm going to watch it.

Good luck on the project Penn!

This is why I enjoy watching Penn. He makes you step back for a second and think.

The statement about "any group is only racist if they state that they are racist" is a pretty strong statement, but true. We should not be judging the "racist or not" of a group based solely on OUR perception of the intent of their actions.

Sounds crazy, huh? But it makes sense to me.

Thumbs down Interesting Opinion

Well this guy is definitely less annoying than JV but the camera work and editing makes me want to puke. I had to look away from the screen just to concentrate on the message here. Bouncing around with his camera is so distracting.

I know that you said "it is my show and I will do whatever the fuck I want" but if you keep up that shitty camera work and bounce around like a druggie that hasn't had his morning hit then I am one of many that won't watch your show.

Camera will hopefully improve after these 1st few initial episodes.

But i like the idea of him calling out Seth, and not from a bad perspective, he says how he enjoys Seth etc.. It's good to see someone call people out when they say/claim things that make no sense. It's like having a debate with friends.

Thumbs up Pretty Cool

I always enjoy listening to Penn. It was a great show. I do agree though with some of the others that the camera work is a bit distracting, but I see what he is going for, so I will stay along for the ride.

I like the theme song too... reminds a little bit of the Bullshit theme(another awesome show).

Smile Where's the beef?

Liked the tour; nice digs. I understand people go to sleep without the camera changes, so that didn't bother me. A rant about a beef you have with the debating skills of some cartoonist commenting on a political fringe group on a late-night talk show, zzz. I don't care what she said or he said, lets hear what you have to say. Give us your beef!

Default Sit Still Man!

Great show, I love hearing Penn rant but I feel sorry for his editor. He must have changed camera views a few hundred times during this show. I'm looking forward to seeing many more of these.
