Default I may be absent, kinda

After seeing many things and suffering many things for years, I have decided to try that Cayenne Cleanse thing.

Seeing many things means I have done my research for years.

Suffered many things means that I have a skin thing from my wrists down that is not quite psoriasis but caused by an allergy to latex and won't go away. Including run on sentences.

This cleanse is supposed to remove toxins from everything. I figure what the hell! I am not a Doctor guy. They haven't had the magic pill in the past ten years. I will try something else.

In am going for all ten days. I will still watch Food Mob, maybe share my past experience with the dishes. But, I will only taste them later.

I have no idea what that is but if you think it will help... here is hoping there is better health for you on the other side.

I do believe in the process of detoxing but I do it by going vegetarian about one month a year. I drink only water and some green tea. I try to stay away from OTC medications as much as possible. The idea is to give the liver a break. At the same time I include foods that are high in vitamin E because it promotes good liver health.

Lots of people do the Cayenne Cleanse - sometimes known as the Lemonade Diet or Master Cleanse.

Not something to do if you are going to be active, or in an extreme temperature environment. It screws with the metabolism, and doesn't provide a high caloric load for energy.

I am yet to try it myself, but was thinking of hitting it once the weather here cools down a little.

Yeah i remember reading up on it because kevin mentioned it on diggnation years ago. It's basically a diet which you dont eat anything or drink anything except for this special mix of lemonade and water. It's some sort of hippie shit that cleanse your body supposedly and crazy chicks go on this diet when they desperately want to lose lots of weight quick.

I remember the website i found had very specific instructions about what to eat and what not to eat before starting the diet to prepare your body for it, then what to eat after your cleansing to slowly condition your body back to regular diet again. Also, it stresses over and over again that you must use super fresh ingredients. I think the ingredients includes lemon, cayenne pepper, honey and water.

It sounds like serious business. I'd like to see how you go.

On another note you need to keep posting since you represent about 20 percent of the traffic here.

I didn't know I was 20% of the traffic.

I am waiting till 3-4 days to report any changes. I figure I need that much time. I will hold on.

Oh the salt water flush everyday is horrible from every end and I am not joking.

I have no hunger at all. The Cayenne drink is not bad. But the flush is bad going in and bad coming out.

Oh so far, I have lost no weight but I look and feel better than a week ago. Am I getting high? I have never been. Just wondering.

I just made that figure up but this board seems to keep getting slower so I am probably in the ballpark.

Are you sure it is the saltwater on the exit because hot peppers that are not nullified a little (usually with a dairy product) can create what I call burning ring of fire. It is intensely unpleasant.

I am not sure about the salt water either ... but the cayenne is not as bad as you think (not like a habernero), and it is made with maple syrup too ... so it wouldnt burn all the way through.

Back in Australia, I used to go to a local farmers market and a guy sold a homebrew lemonade syrup (mix with water or soda water) he called redback. It was awesome - lemonade with chili pepper.

Yeah the salt water bad coming out thing was not burning. Just urgent.

In further review, this thing is much more painful than anything I have ever done. The salt water flush gives me that daily headache and weird high. Blood pressure I guess. Lower back/Sciatic nerve pain. I am just wondering if the agony is part of a mental/spiritual cleansing. Or maybe, I should consult a doctor.

I am sticking with it, pain or not. See you on the other side.

I know what cayenne tastes like. It doesn't have to have a lot of heat to cause BRoF.
