She has said that she is a walking HR violation.

I just want to know, did Patrick know what was going to be said or did he just change direction by himself?

Got to love Ms V.

That ... looks like a great way to bash in your iPad screen. Especially for Patrick given his history with iPhones ... eek.

Assuming they sent Roger a Jasper replacement Xbox 360 (it should say 12.1 amps on the bottom), those tend to have less issues I'm told. Plus they use less power than their predecessors.

Tested.com actually sounds cool. You've merited a twitter add.

3 Terabyte hard drives are going to have that LBA problem though. That's something to factor in. I'm not sure there's a industry defacto solution to that yet. Not that me and my 40 gig SSD are worried about that right now.

namebench is pretty slick. Thanks for that recommendation. Apparently, dnsmasq on my local router is uber-slow. I've been wasting 200 ms of life over and over again.

love how V said "I thought vaseline was an excellent lubricant" and then gives the look like "what? how can that be considered sexual?" lmao

Default Will Smith

Enjoy the segments with Will Smith and hope to see many more! I don't think Will can really consider himself an "old man" just yet (I wish I was 35 again!). I do miss his editorial reviews in Maximum PC and I will definitely be checking out the new Tested.com website. Even though I will never buy an iPad (or anything Apple btw), I thought the velcro idea + touch pad device is a good idea to have just about having media anywhere anybody may be at a certain time, so kudos to whoever made that video.

Default Vaseline on car battery posts

Vaseline - or more generically petroleum jelly - should only be used on battery terminals as a last resort. In other words when nothing else is available and to be changed to a better application as soon as possible.

The best thing to do is simply buy a can of battery terminal spray. It seals the connections against moisture, but unlike Vaseline, battery terminal spray conducts electricity well.

I know this sounds picky but when the Vaseline, or battery terminal spray for that matter, is applied to the terminals - are they acting as lubricants since there is no moving part?

I personally use KY jelly...

...for car batteries, of course. it's a water-based lubricant. ::sigh:: you people have a sick mind
