Default AnimeTV 3.0

*shows starts. Cast speaks in very monotone, robot like voices.*

Christina: "Welcome to animetv everyone. Today we will judge the merits of [name of some new anime]."
Kaiji: "That is correct cast member. This anime seems to the fourth installment in it's franchise."
Miley: "I remember first seeing the second installment of it when I was young and in Japan."
Kaiji: "We are not here to talk about your childhood fellow cast member."
Miley: "My apologies for deviating from the conversation."
Christina: "Apologies accepted."
Roy: "This anime also uses a new aspect ratio for it's screen. Further more-"

*Two hours pass as Roy,Miley,Christina, and Kaiji talk about extremely technical aspects of the anime.*

Kaiji: "And that is why the wide range of colors used in this series make an improvement over it's predecessor."
Roy: "Affirmative. It was an enjoyable show."
Miley: "We are not here to discuss your happiness."
Roy: "Understood."
Christina: "Thank you for watching anime tv. Please observe the next episode of this broadcast."

*show fades to black, and with out any ending music.*

I always figured these anime hosts were robots anyway, well the women at least. I mean women who are interested in anime --- HA --- they must be robots with souls.

Because we all know from anime lore, if you want to create robots with a soul, create them as women. That way the populace will "not feel threatened by them". Riots will still break out on mars over these robot women, but hey riots always break out on mars.

What you talking about? Many girls like Anime! I'm actually quite convinced that the girls on this show genuinely love anime.

You're comment puzzles me. Sounds like you have trouble meeting a girl and you're blaming it on your hobby

You are puzzled because I made a lot of lose Armitage references. (Its be a long time since I've seen any of those Armitage movies). I've had Armitage on the brain for the last week. I found a dusty dual DVD disk set at FYE a week ago which had both Armitage III Poly-Matrix and Armitage Dual Matrix. Too bad I won't have access to a DVD Player until next week. Arrg!!

In all seriousness though. Before this show, I thought anime was a mostly-guy activity. IRL, I can't say I've met an anime loving woman. Where I live, though, anime is a very niche product. Most people don't know about it, or are not interested in it

To clear things about, this is supposed to be a joke about the comments that say ATV is not serious enough and should focus entirely on reviews. So I thought about how ATV could be as bland, simple and as boring as possible.

And I'm glad this brought up Armitage the 3rd. ^^(one of my favorites)
and for some bizarre reason female fans of anime?(yes, they do exist and they're actually quite numerous depending where you are.)
