And therein lies the problem. These "little girls" see pop icons like gaga and Katie Perry and think that it's cool. so at parties they hook up with random chicks, not because they are gay but because they think it's cool and don't realize that they are being labeled as a gay person. Everyone else thinks "OK so you kiss girls and you are a girl therefore you are gay" yet they are not actually gay. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay but there are consequences in carrying that label and kids don't understand that.

Did you ever think of the idea that things only become relevant by talking about them? If no one talked about this stuff about Lady Gaga proclamig homosexuality as some kind of funny game no one would ever bother. Kids love to provoke and do things adults don't want them to do, so it is in our hands, right?
And if society would finally accept homosexuality as something normal, there wouldn't be any consquences for people stating to be gay.
But that's just my opinion.

The video totally reminded me on Madonna and her videos in the 80s/90s when she wanted to shock the catholic church. Even the bra Lady Gaga is wearing is so similar to the one's Madonna used to wear (designed by Gucci)...

Lady Gaga also reminds me of the Missing Persons. We old timers were listening to MP back in '82 when we were playing Frogger and Donkey Kong down at the local burger shack/malt shop/hang out.

That probably makes more sense than the comparison to Madonna.(which seems to be more about hate for gaga than actual critique)

Which is more dangerous?

Two girls/guys kissing?

Or a priest/teacher/respected adult touching little boys and girls?

Looking at the grand scheme of things, it's safe to assume that Lady Gaga and Kate Perry are making money and causing no real, serious harm.
