The ten websites – seized yesterday pursuant to a federal court order that was unsealed today – were among the most popular on the Internet for illegally distributing copyrighted sporting events.

They are: ATDHE.NET, CHANNELSURFING.NET, HQ-STREAMS.COM, HQ* STREAMS.NET, FIRSTROW.NET, ILEMI.COM, IILEMI.COM, IILEMII.COM, ROJADIRECTA.ORG and ROJADIRECTA.COM.
Blame the NFL and the super bowl.

UFC had a major hand in it as well.

Default Roku MORE LIVE TV!

Roku once again is adding additional LIVE TV. Channel is "Livestation".

Livestation will give you:

Al Jazeera English
RT English (Broadcast from Moscow)
France 24 (English)
PressTV (English) Iran (propaganda but, hey you can judge the perspective)

Kudos to Roku! KEEP THOSE LIVE CHANNELS COMING!

AppleTV What Are You Waiting For?

Default BREAKING: FoxNew.com GOING LIVE STREAMING on Roku

I can't even find the press releases on this. But, the "live" channel is there. Go to the Roku Channel Store and you will see FoxNews.com. Once you install the channel, FoxNews.com is claiming: "LIVE STREAMING EVERY WEEKDAY 9A to 3P ET....

Good Work ROKU!...

Apple TV What Are You Waiting For!? .. Live Content Rocks!..

Big Cable and Big Dish your days are numbered......

I don't use it myself, but my bro uses something called sopcast (p2p streaming) to watch sport events that don't air here in the U.S. The quality varies from stream to stream.

I was surprised to find they even had a linux port which worked out nicely since I moved my HTPC to linux a few months ago.

I used to have a roommate that viewed online streaming for pay per view events. Be careful on those websites, he picked up a good bit of malware there.
