Default A Request for Your Show

I have been watching the show since the first episode and have loved it. However lately the language has been rather harsh. I watch mostly at work where they have very strict rules about swearing (or letting your computer swear). I know this is annoying but could you either curb your swearing or bleep it out? I would like to continue watching your videos at work but I'm going to have to quit if the language continues.

Thanks

I just posted this on another thread, but please DON'T change the language. This is the "Diggnation" of food shows and should be as open and honest as possible to stay as much fun. Sorry, but just wait till you are home and watch it then.

Love the work Niall.

i'm gonna just throw this out there, but are you not able to use headphones while watching this at work? if not, i hope you're not one of those inconsiderate co-workers that plays audio louder than it should be played

I stand by my request. I don't see that bleeping out anything that is NSFW would destroy the main goal of this show. I do understand it adds to the post production effort. (And no I'm not one of those annoying people who plays stuff on their computer too loud. I work in a enclosed office by myself not a cubical. However I do have people who walk in my office would have a problem with some guy using a string of profanity to describe food.)

I don't think I'm alone out there with this issue. I really like this program but the language limits how and where I can watch it. I have two young children at home so I can't watch it there either due to the language. This is a cooking show even Gordon Ramsey has his TV shows censored from his language and it doesn't detract from the quality of the show.

I know it's great to have people watching the show, but maybe you should be more productive at work instead of watching it? If they decide to do any censoring at all, maybe make a NSFW version, but don't completely censor every available episode.

I think there would be strict rules about watching internet videos at work. No, keep the language.

The swearing doesn't bother me a bit; it's part of the charm of the show.

Foodmob is revolutionary in terms of cooking shows for this reason!

Do I have to parrot this?

If the language is bad at work, any podcast is bad at work! Try Working!

They don't have to change their work for kids or kids at heart. What a load of crap. Take responsibility for your own viewer ship among co workers or kids. Grow up.

If you are this stupid, catch me eating spaghetti at your house!

I think you guys need to be careful since Niall is obviously trying to grow the demographics of the show. The language doesn't bother me, but I am also male and Niall himself is concerned about how few women are watching his show (or at least signing up for facebook).

It would be my preference that most of the things be left alone but I'd also like to see it not get cancelled.

The change I would make is move the interactive picture portion to the end of the show. That is where you really lost my wife. I think you should hook people with the cooking and if they want to hang around for the interactive part it is optional.

My personal request would be to mic Aaron and Lauren. I have a hard time understanding them at times without rewinding and cranking up the volume.

I agree with the majority here, don't change the language....there isn't any need for that. If someone wants to watch the show at work, then the most respectable thing to do (apart from not watching!) would be to use a pair of headphones.

@ronaldo...I don't think the interactive picture portion needs to be pushed to the end. If the show lost your wife because of an initial 2 min segment, it seems like she wasn't really interested in watching to begin with.

I do agree with mic'ing Aaron and Lauren. Would be nice to hear what they have to say (clearly!) every now and again.
