Digg Reel S/B REvamped

Does anyone else think this show is not living up to it potential?

I know for me that I would not be watching if it wasn't for cute little Annie but I just may soon get bored of that too. The videos can be found anywhere on the internet so it isn't like viewers need to tune in to the DR to get their content. It is the hosts that make the show interesting to watch. Things got a little better when Annie started hosting (oh, I mean filling in, lol) and even a little more better when she turned her chair to the side and did a permanent inhale but even that is getting old.

I am tired of the old set (table/chairs/backdrop), the "make a fist and pound that" exit at the end. The new daily format is great, the pink drawn on cards used by Andrew are good (although underused imo) and the choice of videos are pretty good too.

I don't know what is missing or if this is just all the show can offer but I don't believe that. Everything can always be improved.

Just curious as to what others think. If this should be posted somewhere else on the forums then please let me know.

Yeah it needs something. I stopped watching recently because it felt like everyday was the same old stuff. A new look and giving Andrew more freedom to do stuff would probably be enough to get me into it again.

I am going to post this issue elsewhere where there is already some discussion on it. No one seems to, except for one, be replying to this discussion. I think it is just in the wrong place on the forums.

Definitely feels like it's going down the same path as Internet Superstar did... and we all know what happened.

They need a new set, and change it often. They need diversity, not the same old thing every day/week. I miss the mini-skits Andrew used to do.

Nobody asked to see it go just improved...

It's sad that it is going but Andrew become the only good thing about this show, it was pretty tired by the end because it was just a playlist of videos rather than concentrating on the community and commentary aspect of it like Andrew's weeklies did (Jessica's ones were in hindsight worse than these dailies).

The show was great in it's day - thanks to everyone who made it happen.

Soooo Dan 3.0 is still running and The Digg Reel goes....... hrmmmm... something about this really sucks. :/


The Digg Reel is one of my Favorite internet shows. Sorry to see it go.
