The guys are back to the present this week with a review of George Clooney's new movie, The American. Locke & Key being made into a TV series? Awesome. Plus, they go hands-on with Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer. And be sure to stick around to the end of the episode for some GIANT NEWS about TRS!

Great episode.
Dan I totally feel you on the whole having to back track thing. I hate it. What games need is a way for the player to add reminders on the map. If I walk by something that I know I am going to have to come back to let me place a note to myself on the map. I'm with Jeff on Scott pilgrim. That is why I have not gone to see the expendables because I blame that movie for the low box office figures. Boycott expendables. I was playing halo 3 (getting ready for reach) when I got the idea of how much help a turn around button would be. 80 percent of the time I get killed from people shooting me in the back and by the time I turn around I'm dead. If there was a button or sequence I can hit to immediately turn around it would be awesome. I don't really have this problem on call of duty because call of duty is all around a faster pace game than halo but I think all fps could use it.

I agree with Dan about Hudson Hawk and Last Action Hero and I've never understood the negative reactions to either of them. However, I'd have to say that my favorite box office bomb is 'Dude, Where's My Car?'. I absolutely love that movie and make a point of watching it at least a few times a year, but most people that I know hate it.

That was always my biggest concern with Metroid: Other M...I should not be shuffling my controller in the middle of playing. That's one of two reasons I haven't played it yet. (The other being related to it taking forever because of all the backtracking...I don't hate it, but I don't love the anticipation of not being able to go somewhere just yet.)
Still not too convinced on the giant news...they said more content, but they didn't say if they'd be more thorough with any of the content now. Edit: and why are they talking about TV news in the Movies section?

Not a fan of Last Action Hero, but Hudson Hawk tops my guilty pleasure list. "Oh would you like to swing on a star <BOOM> carry moonbeams home in a jar <KABOOOMMM>". Its Bruce when he was still Bruce.

I like the idea of weekdaily installments of the show. Especially if it allows you gentlemen to flesh out some of your opinions and ideas more. More time spent on talking about what the current subject is or on some older subjects, like influences, would definitely make me enjoy the show even more.
That has been one thing that I have loved about Weekend Confirmed, 2 hours spent on just talking about video games. But now I would like more time spent on movies and perhaps some other things as well. That's my opinion, but I am sure that I will enjoy whatever content you guys put out, as I always have thus far. Keep up the good work. I was pleasantly surprised, thank you. ![]() |

Anton Corbijn is Dutch, and Dan please try your best to pronounce a name you're not familiair with, instead of converting it to a more American name.

Is it just me, or did Alex age ten years between last show and this one.
